Every Tuesday is kids’ night

If you think that there is nothing for kids to do in Greenville, then the folks at Pizza Hut have the answer: Tuesday night is kids' night.
In an attempt to give the children of the community a special night of their own, Wanda Harrell, manager of Greenville Pizza Hut on Ft. Dale Road has made every Tuesday night special for them.
"We try to do something special for the kids every Tuesday," said Harrell. Since Halloween fell on Tuesday this year, it was perfect.
"We have some really imaginative parents that work here, so the job is a little easier than one would think," Harrell said.
On Halloween night, the crew at Pizza Hut was all decked out in costumes, and the theme for the night revolved around "face painting."
"We had a live D.J., La La Fresh' playing music, and all
the employees chose their own costumes to wear," she said.
And of course, when they say "kids night", they mean that the pizza and salad buffets are free for kids accompanied by an adult.
"We do this every Tuesday night," Harrell said. "We have been holding kids night for three years, and it has remained a popular activity for the children."
You never know what you will find as the theme for the night, when going to Kids night. Sometimes the employees are dressed up as clowns, and passing out balloons, and sometimes there are coloring contests.
One thing that is always in store though is the cartoons that are playing on the overhead TV set.
&uot; This is a safe environment where parents can bring their kids, and let them just be kids for a while,&uot; Harrell said.
Kids night is held on Tuesday nights, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. On December 12, the First Baptist Youth Choir will preform for the children.
A surprise is planned for December 19th.
