authorize Mayor Dexter McLendon to enter into a franchise agreement with Times Warner Entertainment, when it meets Monday at 5:30 p.m.

That agreement would be for 10 years, and if a contract is not available the council will consider extending the current agreement for 30 days.

Other items to be considered by the council include:

A resolution authorizing the issuance of a retail beer (off-premise only) liquor license to David Russell Lowery dba Lowery's Amoco.

That matter was tabled at the Nov. 20 meeting to allow time to measure the distance to the nearest church.

A resolution authorizing a change in the schedule of fees for Sherling Lake Park.
