"It was just one of those games that you jump out on top and hope you don't get anyone hurt," said Sampley. "And, a lot of people got playing time."

The last two touchdowns Pike Liberal Academy scored were against the Eagles eighth-grade and ninth-grade unit.

Tommy Ryan Jr. started the scoring for FDA, when he took it in from four yards.

Miles Hulick turned a simple screen pass from Adam Crenshaw into the next Eagles score when he raced 67 yards to paydirt.

Crenshaw, who led th Eagles on the ground with 94 yards on eight tries, handled the next score himself, keeping the ball on the option and going 47 yards for the score.

&uot;I thought Adam played real well,&uot; said Sampley. &uot;He's a senior so he's going to be a leader out there. We expect that out of him. Adam's not going to dazzle you with his throwing ability but he can run the option and make good decisions.&uot;

Jared Lowe poked it in from the four-yard-line after Josh Till picked off a Pike Liberal pass.

Sampley said he was pleased he was able to get Lowe into the game.

&uot;Jared's been hurt all preseason, so just getting him in on a few snaps is good for him,&uot; Sampley said.

The Eagles last score came when Till hit Toby Mitchell for a 25-yard touchdown, after Till came in to relieve Crenshaw.

&uot;I was glad we were able to get Josh into the game,&uot; said Sampley. &uot;He's got a lot of potential and this was the first time he's ever played quarterback during a game.&uot;

Clint Philpot was responsible for kicking all five extra points.

In addition to Crenshaw's 94 yards on the ground, Till had 62 yards on

seven carries and Ryan had 31 yards in six carries.

Crenshaw completed three passes on four attempts for 84 yards and one touchdown.

On defense, Ryan Landwehr and Bo Tucker each made eight tackles.

Ryan and Till each made an interception.

Clint Philpot and Joey Hambric each recovered a fumble, and Patrick Skipper had one sack.
