Fugitive sought by BCSO

Butler County Sheriff Diane Harris announced Tuesday that her office needs the public's assistance in locating a felony fugitive and his wife.

Demetrius Currine Carter is described as a 24-year-old male, 6' 3" tall, 185 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes; and he was born Feb. 1, 1976.

Officers indicate that Carter may be in the company of his wife, Erica Michelle Bundy Carter, who is described as a 20-year-old female, 5' 1" in height, weighing 140 lbs. having red hair and green eyes; she has a tattoo on her right upper arm in the shape of a heart, with the initials "D.W." in the center of it.

Mrs. Carter was last heard from when she telephoned home on March 29. Her life may be endangered by her husband, officers say, and she may be being held against her will.
