1-A football games already scheduled for the year 2001 are Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Maryland.

This year the Trojans have four home games scheduled, and season tickets will sell for $40.00.

"For less than what it costs to see a movie, you can see some really fine football played," Jimmy Gardner, past president of the chapter and tournament organizer, said.

"If you have never been to a Troy State University football game, you will be in for a real treat," Gardner added.

Five scholarships were awarded to area outstanding high school students with funds that were gained from golf tournaments last year, and donations will be accepted toward future scholarships.

Anyone wishing to make a donation may do so by mailing a check to the Butler County chapter of TSU Alumni, Post Office Box 5, Forest Home, Al. 36030.
