The eight member squad received superior ratings in all areas, which include dance, cheers, and chant.

Several individual awards were also received.

Three members were selected as All-Star Cheerleaders:

Fontana Stinson, co-captain; Megan Brooks, co-captain, and Jena Poff.

The All-Stars were invited to march in the All-Star Parade at Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

"Ladies First" still applies here, as the squad has been practicing ever since May, says sponsor Karen Hill.

Hill and Debbie Poff have been working real hard, during a time when most teachers are off for the summer,

to teach the squad which only has two returning members from last year; both of them the co-captains.

Other members of the squad are

Kayla Thomas, Alicia Peroni, Danitta Crenshaw, Kendra Mitchell and Laken Hill.

The squad will serve for both the football and basketball seasons.
