Three winners have already been given $100 shopping sprees in downtown Greenville, and Mainstreet program director Nancy Idland said there is only one week left to register to win for the final week.

"Dec. 22 will be the final drawing for $100 in Mainstreet Bucks," Idland said. "The winner will be able to spend that money with

any Mainstreet merchant and help make their holiday a little brighter."

Idland said the turnout for the last three Terrific Tuesday drawings has been good, but she expects the Dec. 22 drawing to be the biggest yet.

"We're encouraging residents to get out and shop on Tuesday, Dec. 21 for the final Terrific Tuesday," she said. "We will make the final drawing the next day."

Idland said the Mainstreet merchants and the community have been supportive of the month-long event, and she encourages all community members to get downtown and get registered for a chance to win.

"Mainstreet merchants will be having specials between now and Christmas and there is no waiting and plenty of parking," Idland said.

Terrific Tuesday is a weekly drawing sponsored by the Mainstreet merchants of Greenville. Participants must register for the final drawing on Tuesday, Dec 21, at any Mainstreet merchant in Greenville. The drawing for $100 in Mainstreet money will be held on Dec. 22. Participants must be 18 years or older in order to register and win.
