Mighty Mites cruise to victory over Squadron

The Greenville YMCA Mighty Mites cruised to a 28-0 victory over Highland Home Squadron on Saturday, September 18.
Tyrone Crittendon, who rushed for 101 yards and three touchdowns on only three carries, led the Mighty Mites.
Colt Blackburn carried four times for 32 yards and converted
two PAT's.
Jeremy Fields had one rush for 27 yards.
On the defensive side of the ball, Critterdon also had a big day, collecting seven tackles and recovering a fumble for a 50-yard touchdown.
Jeremy Booker had eight solo tackles. Wade Ballard tackled three Squadron players on the day.
Colt Blackburn, Jeremy Fields, Demario Williams and Cody Womack each had one tackle.
The Mites' defense held the Squadron to only 51 yards of offense.
The Greenville Termites did not fare as well.
Highland Home won the second game of the day 30-8.
Jemario Smith, who carried the ball 17 times for 96 yards including one touchdown, led the Greenville offense.
Tyler Newton had seven touches for nine yards and converted one PAT.
Newton also collected 14 yards through the air with catches going to Smith and Christian Williams.
Kenneth Mayes led the defense with a fumble recovery and five tackles.
Newton pitched in with three and Andrew Gibson had two tackles on the day.
Henry Adams, Jeremy Robinson and Danny Spann each had one tackle for Greenville.
The Greenville Pee-Wee team lost a hard-fought battle 14-0.
Greenville could not get much offense generated against the opposing defense.
Cruz Cook rushed twice for nine yards.
Quinton Gregory carried four times for six yards.
Aaron Coleman, who made six tackles, led the defense.
Demarion Abrams and Karon Similton helped out with three tackles each.
