Twilight Run set for Thursday

L.V. Stabler Memorial Hospital will host the Wellness Challenge III Twilight Run Thursday.

The run will raise funds for the National Down Syndrome Foundation Buddy Walk.

The Buddy Walk program was established in 1995 by the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome and to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month in October. The name Buddy Walk promotes inclusion between friends of every ability.

The cost to participate in the Twilight Run is $20, and includes a T-shirt as long as they are available.

The 5K race will begin at 6:30 p.m. Registration begins at 6 p.m. at L.V. Stabler Memorial Hospital. Participants may also walk the 5K.

There will also be a free Tot Trot around the hospital, which will be supervised. The Tot Trot will begin at 6 p.m.
