Hilda Eloise Bruner McGough, age 86, of Logan, Alabama, departed this life on Sunday, August 22.

Hilda was born on March 9, 1935, in Montgomery, Alabama, to Dora Savannah and Marcellous Samuel Bruner.

Hilda’s parents, husband Willie Hugh McGough, daughter Rhonda Marchelle Brooks, sister Irene Bruner St. John and  brothers Marcellous Samuel Bruner Jr  and Oddis Timothy Bruner precede her in death.

Her brother Randall Burnette (Sandra) and her four children survive her.

She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren Samantha Woodall Dutson (Rich), Candace Ward Thompson (Phillip), Ashley Weldon Paulk, Daniel Brooks, Tracy Weldon, Matthew Ward, Johnathan Hooper (Alyssa), Lauren Weldon Blankenship (Jeffery), Tabitha Hooper Curry (David), and Jennifer Hooper Grahovac (Jesse), fourteen great‑grandchildren and her two great‑great‑grandchildren.

Hilda also leaves behind her dear cousin Rebecca St. John Fleming and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who she welcomed into her heart and home as her own family.

A celebration of life service followed her burial at Bethel United Methodist Church.
