Amberine Brown, 95, died January 21, 2009. He was born November 12, 1913. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2009 from Ridgeville Baptist Church with the Rev. Parnell Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery with Hudson Funeral Services of Greenville directing.
Mr. Brown leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Lula Brown; children, Sallie Clay (Kenneth – deceased), Robert C. Brown (Pearl), Lela Poindexter, Irene Moore (Walter – deceased), Katie L. Thomas (Willie), Clara L. Patterson (Rev. Charles), Mary V. Paige (Rev. Anthony), Sandra J. Bullock (Daniel), Jeffrey W. Brown (Ella), Patricia D. Royster (Kenneth), and Karen Charisse Ridgeway (Rev. Marcellous).
He was predeceased by children, Sadie M. Elliot (Claudell – deceased), Amberine Brown Jr., Earnest Lee Brown and the late Elnora Brown.
