Jonathan Bryant was recently hired as an intern with Greenville Newspapers, LLC.

Bryant is a senior at Troy University studying print journalism. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Troy. He began working at the Advocate on Monday.

“I’m very thankful for the opportunity to work with such a wonderful staff here at the Greenville Advocate, and I look forward to meeting and working with various members of the community,” Bryant said.

Bryant will intern at the Greenville Advocate and the Luverne Journal for 10 weeks as part of the Alabama Press Association’s Journalism Foundation internship.

“We’re excited to have Jonathan with us for the summer,”  said group managing editor Andy Brown. “We know he’ll do a good job and serve our community well.”
