Authorities said the burglars were searching for cash.

“No major items were taken from any of the businesses,” Lovvorn said. “At some of the businesses nothing was taken. The suspects just broke in and poked around. It appears that the suspects were looking for cash, and a small amount of cash was taken from the six businesses.”

Anyone with information on the break-ins is asked to call the GPD at (334) 382-7461.

More information will be published as it becomes available.
