Mr. A.J. White Sr., age 77, of Frisco City, Ala. died Oct. 18, 2011 at Mobile Infirmary Hospital in Mobile, Ala.

White worked for Henry C. Childs Construction Company as a Heavy Equipment Operator, and he was a member of Monroeville Church of Christ in Monroeville, Ala.

White is survived by his wife, Mrs. Joyce White of Frisco City, Ala., his three sons, Ray Charles White of Pascagoula, Miss.; A.J. White Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz; and Cory White of Frisco City, Ala., his two daughters, Sheila White of Frisco City, Ala.; and Rolanda White of Foley Ala., nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at Hook Street Church of Christ in Greenville, Ala. at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011. The place of burial will be at PineTop Cemetery in Greenville, Ala. The officiating minister is Rev. William Rudolph.

Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 21 at 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at Penn’s Chapel. An additional visitation will be Saturday at Hook Street from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
