FAITH: Get back up again

Published 11:09 pm Wednesday, October 14, 2015

One of the most difficult lessons to learn in life is how to get back up again when all of the trials and tribulations of this world have knocked you down.

There are times that we let disappointments and setbacks affect how we live out our lives. Doubt, past failures, personal struggles and bad decisions are just a few of the things that we allow to come into our lives and “knock” us down to the point where we feel as if we can’t overcome them, leading us to accept an attitude of defeat.

But today, you need to know that no matter what you may be going through, or what may come against you, or how many times you may have already fallen in your personal OR spiritual life, God has given each of us the courage and strength to know that through Him we can always “GET BACK UP AGAIN.”

In life, you can be assured that you will get knocked down every now and then … even when you are striving to follow Christ and be obedient to His word and to His will.

But it is during these times that we must remain strong and keep our complete faith and trust in God, knowing then we can overcome any obstacles that may be in our way. Because when it comes to God, we are not measured by how many times we get knocked down in this life. Rather, we are measured by how many times that we are able to get up after we have been knocked down.

And as long as you continue to get up in spite of the situation or the circumstances, you always have the opportunity to fight another day.

So be encouraged, get back up and fight through it.

When people talk about you for no reason, get back up and fight.

When people mistreat you for whatever reason, get back up and fight.

When your situation seems hopeless and you feel like giving up…hold on, be strong and get back up again to fight another day.

In life, as long as you continue to get up when life knocks you down, you may be down but you’re never out.

Claim the victory.

God Bless.
