Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Sport, of Luverne, are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Megan Alicia Sport, to Mitchell Carter Florence, son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Florence, of Roswell, Ga.

Miss Sport is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mack Wise and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sport, of Luverne.

Mr. Florence is the grandson of the late Mr. Philip Florence and Mrs. Audrey Florence of Atlanta, Ga. and Mr. Harry New and the late Mrs. Nell Woods of Conyers, Ga.

Miss Sport is a graduate of the University of Alabama and received her Bachelor of Science in human environmental sciences. She is currently pursuing a career in photography.

Mr. Florence is a graduate of the University of Alabama and received his Bachelor of Science in business administration. He is employed by the Hunt Channel.

A September wedding has been planned at Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.
