Marion Janette Smith, 81, a resident of Greenville, Ala., died on Thursday, June 4 at Crowne Health Care. The funeral service will take place Saturday, June 6 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Moses officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will take place Saturday, June 6 from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Windom; father, John Marion Windom; A.Q. Mitchell, former husband; Glen F. Smith Sr. and son, Randall Smith. She is survived by her children, Glen Smith Jr. (Sheila) of Georgia; Steven Smith of Greenville, Wanda Pitts (Danny) and Brian Smith (Shu) of Greenville; grandchildren, Samuel Smith, Justin Smith, Jarret Smith, Hannah Smith, Heather Moses and Emily P.
