Earl Franklin Phelps, 90, a resident of Greenville died Nov. 2. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Harrison Funeral Home with Rev. Don Yancey, Rev. Wallace Newton and Rev. Jim Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Damascus Cemetery. Visitation will be at Harrison Funeral Home on Tuesday from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. Mr. Phelps is survived by his wife Bolling Phelps, Greenville; two daughters, Tricia Phelps, Atlanta, and Sandy (Roger) Black, Honoraville; two grandchildren, Heath Black and Chad (Shea) Black; three great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Belle Graydon, Montgomery, Rebecca (Buck) Mobley, Mobile, and Lillian Bell, Chipley, Fla. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Southern Care Hospice, 102 Camellia Ave., Greenville, Al., 36037 or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
