Glen David Owens, 86, a resident of Greenville, died Aug. 13, 2013. Graveside services will be held Friday, Aug. 16, at 11 a.m at Sunrise Memorial Park with ministers Charles Sipper and Jim Wilson officiating and Harrison Funeral Home directing. Survivors include his wife, Mazelle Layton Owens, Greenville; daughter, Glenda Owens Landrum, Meridian, Miss.; son, Benjamin Owens, Greenville; brother, Douglas Owens, Tuscaloosa, Ala.; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mr. Owens was preceded in death by his son Danny Owens. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army in World War II.
