James Alton Guest, 77, a resident of Dothan, Ala., and formerly of Andalusia, Ala., died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013 from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barry Wilkinson officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home directing arrangements. Mr. Guest’s family will accept friends Tuesday evening, January 1, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, Georgiana, Al.  Mr. Guest was preceded in death by a Son, James Randall “Randy” Guest. He is survived by his Wife, Maxine Guest, Dothan, Al; Daughters, Melissa “Lisa” Guest (Jeff) Russell, Swannie, Ga, Melanie (David) Lumpkin, Hoschton, Ga, and Lisa (Bobby) Murphy, Cedar Springs, Ga; Sons, Robert “Robbie” (Jackie) Guest, Lawrenceville, Ga and Sid Couch, Marietta, Ga; Brothers, Bobby (Jeanette) Guest and Edwin (Jody) Butts, both of Montgomery, Al; 17 Grand Children and 6 Great Grand Children.
