Area hunters will have the chance to sharpen their skills ahead of the upcoming deer season thanks to the second annual Hunters Night Out.

The event, which is sponsored by Greenville’s Quality Cooperative, is scheduled for Thursday night and will feature a free seminar on hunting the rut, which will be conducted by Kevin Matthews from Top Secret Deer Scents.

“He’s well-known across the country,” said Ryan Williams, manager of Quality Cooperative. “This is the first time we’ve had a seminar like this, and we think it’s going to be something that benefits hunters in our area.”
