Sarah Eleanor Reynolds Pittman, 84, passed away peacefully August 15, 2012 at home with family and friends. She was born May 30, 1928. Mrs. Pittman was an organist at Memorial Heights Baptist Church for over 30 years.

She loved to fish and spend time with family and friends. Preceding her in death were her mother and father; brothers, Ad Reynolds, Adolphus Reynolds, Alvin Reynolds and Kendrick Reynolds; sisters, Exa Reynolds Stevenson, Ever Reynolds Newton, and Ethel Reynolds Whiddon. Leaving to cherish her memories is her husband Orland John Pittman; daughter, Lynn Pittman Gillespie; son, John Charles Pittman; grandsons, David Pittman and Jason Pittman; Great grandchildren: Caeley Pittman, Corban Pittman, Christopher Pittman, and Riley Pittman.

In lieu of flowers to honor Sarah Pittman, donations may be made to: to Southern Care Hospice, 102 Camellia Ave. Greenville, Ala. 36037 to help those patients in need.
