Bonnie Dale Parker, a resident of Greenville, passed away on Friday, June 7 at the age of 80.
Funeral Services were held on Sunday, June 9, beginning at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Dunklin Funeral Home with Brother Randy Harvill officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing. Burial followed in Sunrise Memorial Park. The family received friends for visitation beginning at 2 p.m. until service time.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Kenneth Parker, Sr.; sister, Glenda Wallace and brothers, Sammy Pierce, David Pierce. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Osborne (Regina) Parker, Jr., Chris (Joyce) Sells, Sonny Parker; daughters, Rhonda (Tommy) Henderson, Marcia Shutz, Patti Adair; grandchildren, Cody Ryan (Hannah) Parker, Taylor Parker, Hannah Sells, along with many nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was a graduate of Bishop State University with an RN degree in nursing. Bonnie first retired after 25 years from AT&T before fulfilling her dream of a career in nursing. She has served the communities of Greenville, Georgiana, Andalusia, and Montgomery as a nurse for 29 years. She was a kind and loving nurse to all. She also loved to sew and make quilts. Bonnie was a faithful servant to the Lord.
