Rebels tag state clay shooting championship

Making the All-Tournament team are Benton Taylor and Kade Cartwright from Fort Dale, Cole Spears from Hooper, Brewer Smith from Chambers, Gage Strickland from John T. Morgan and Kasen Dismukes and Cooper Dansby from Lowndes Academy.

The Alabama Independent School Association (AISA) hosted the 3rd Annual Sporting Clays Tournament Friday morning at the Lower Wetumpka Shotgun Sports Club. Lowndes Academy tagged the championship averaging 89.25. In second place, Fort Dale Academy gained the runner-up title averaging 86.5.
Individual Champions were Cooper Dansby (94) and Kasen Dismukes (94) from Lowndes Academy.
Making All-Tournament were Dansby and Dismukes, Gage Strickland (90) of John T. Morgan Academy, Cole Spears (89) of Hooper Academy, Benton Taylor (88) and Kade Cartwright (87) of Fort Dale Academy and Brewer Smith (87) of Chambers Academy.
