Blackmon named to Jax State dean’s list

Joseph Jackson Blackmon of Greenville has been named to the Jacksonville State University dean’s list for his outstanding academic performance over the spring 2024 semester. Appointment to the list requires that students earn a 3.5-3.99 GPA (grade point average) while completing at least 12 credit hours of courses.

Blackmon is majoring in criminal justice. He is a 2019 graduate of Fort Dale Academy, where he played baseball for the Eagles.
