In March, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) announced the 2023 Performance Awards winners in one or more of the following categories: Torchbearer, Spirit of True Hospitality Excellence, Owner/Operator Excellence, Newcomer, IHG One Rewards Guest Love Excellence, and/or IHG One Rewards Enrollment Excellence.
The awards marked 2023 as the fourth consecutive year in which hotels in the group have soared to the pinnacle of excellence, securing top-tier scores and clinching one of the top two awards given. The year 2023 marks the second time for the group achieving the Spirit of True Hospitality Excellence award. Prior to that, the other two awarded were Torchbearer in 2020 and 2022.
The comprehensive assessment encompasses various crucial aspects such as breakfast quality, guest satisfaction ratings, cleanliness standards, IHG reward members’ approval and overall love for the hotel experience.
