Joshua Dakota Hooks, age 23, a resident of Georgiana, passed away on Wednesday, April 24.

Funeral Services were held on Monday, April 29, beginning at 1 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro Roy Smith officiating, with Johnson Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in Brooks Cemetery, Red Level, Alabama. The family received friends for visitation on Sunday, April 28, at Johnson Funeral Home beginning at 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.  

Mr. Joshua is preceded in death by his uncle, Joseph Michael Hooks; grandmother, Janice Allen; great grandmothers, Annette Paulk, Mary Ester Hooks; cousin, David Evan Hooks.

Mr. Joshua is survived by his wife, Ashuntys Arnold; father, Lamar A Hooks; mother, Corissa Monique Hooks; siblings, Kevin Hensley Hooks, Patrick Levi Griggs, Kathy Diane Hooks, Nevaeh Serenity Hooks, Quan Arnold, Charlie Arnold, Jonathan Davidson, Jamical Davdison, Landrie Kelley, Javion Davidson; grandparents, Hyram Ansley and Edna Hooks, Kathy Annette Poole, Angela Peavy; aunt, Codi Allen; uncle, Tommy Gun Allen and cousin, Andrew Hooks.
