William L. Burnett – A Funeral service was held Saturday, March 30 beginning at 4 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home with Dr. Mark Hawkins officiating and Hudson Funeral Service directing.

Mr. William L. Burnett was born on Sept. 26, 1974 to the late William Hawkins and Elizabeth B. James. He departed this life on March 19.

He was preceded in death by his dad William Hawkins, his mother Elizabeth Burnett James and sister Aisha Hawkins.

He leaves to cherish his memories his brothers Gregory L. Burnett of Anniston and Corey McDonald of Greenville; sister, Latoria (Demario) Worley of Greenville, Andrea Malisham, Greenville,  Demetrisus Harris of Crenshaw County, Tameka Jones of St. Louis, Missouri;  four aunts, Lula Griffin of Greenville, Emma J. McAllister of Fort Washington, Maryland, Betty R. Nails (Jonathan) of Vidalia, Georgia, Beatrice (Willie Earl) Lewis of Greenville; three uncles,  John Wesley Lucas of Springfield, Virginia, Robert E. Burnett of Greenville, Larry Burnett of Iwanaga of Japan and Willie James Hawkins, Birmingham and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
