The Fort Dale Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution is proud to announce that Joseph Ealum of Fort Dale Academy and Javon McGough of Greenville High School are the chapter’s 2024 Good Citizens. The DAR Good Citizens program and scholarship contest is open to all high school seniors enrolled in public or private schools. The student selected as the school’s DAR Good Citizen must exhibit dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism.

Cissi Jones, Chairman of the chapter’s Good Citizens program, said, “We are so pleased to honor these two outstanding young men who exhibit the qualities of good citizenship in their homes, schools and communities.” 

Ealum and McGough were recognized for their achievements at their schools on Monday, Feb. 26.
