Warrior Ministries, having successfully completed a 21-day prayer initiative, is now calling upon the community to join them for a special event at noon on Feb. 29 at City Hall — a global day of prayer. Event organizer Carolyn Griffin discussed the group’s mission to unite prayer warriors from all walks of life to lift their voices in support of the community.

“We’ve got an extra day this year,” Griffin emphasized. “Let’s take that extra day and dedicate it to prayer.”

Pastor John Girdley of First Baptist Church in Greenville commended Griffin on her devotion to the community’s spiritual needs. 

“She (Carolyn) did such a phenomenal job on the 21 days of prayer,” Girdley said. “She has a real heart for prayer and unity in our community.”
