Wealth, Health and Fitness with Katrina Parker LLC is hosting its inaugural Women’s Heart Health Summit on Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. The event, themed “empower her heart,” will be held at the Sav-a-Child outreach center located at 118 Bolling Street in Greenville and is free to the public.
The summit will feature Community Impact Director for the American Heart Association, Christen Lawrence, as a speaker.
“Everyone, especially women, should prioritize monitoring their health numbers…things such as blood pressure readings, cholesterol levels, etc. and improve on their health-related behaviors such as getting enough sleep, increasing physical activity, and eating a healthy diet,” Lawrence said.
In addition to Lawrence’s presentation, heart disease survivors Stephanie Jones and Michelle Black will share their inspiring stories at the event.
