One of Greenville’s own and a former Eagle, has been selected as a member for Troy University’s group of select students – “The 87.” Nathaniel Richardson, a 2021 graduate of Fort Dale Academy, was named to the elite student group and acknowledged in a Dec. 12 announcement.

Recipients were honored during a reception by Troy Chancellor, Dr. Jack Hawkins, Jr. and First Lady of Troy, Janice Hawkins, on Dec. 4 at the Chancellor’s residence on campus.

Formerly Who’s Who, “The 87” recognizes juniors, seniors and graduate students who have excelled in campus leadership and in their academic area. Students are selected on the basis of academic standing, community service, leadership ability and potential for continued success.
