Thelma Dunnavant Boggan, age 95, a resident of Greenville, passed away to her eternal home on Thursday, Nov, 9, surrounded by her family.

Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, Nov. 14, beginning at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Dunklin Funeral Home with Rev. Felton Stewart and Brother Chris Mosley officiating with Dunklin Funeral Home directing. The family received friends for visitation beginning at noon until service time.  Burial followed in Sunrise Memorial Park.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, William Colvin and Minnie Lee Dickens Dunnavant; daughter, Faye Boggan Stringfellow; sisters, Annie Mae (Bunt) Turner, Willie Lee (Mim) Duke, Estelle (Ray) Acreman, Jean (Ed) Bozeman; brother, Charlie (Lois) Dunnavant; grandson, Kenneth Stringfellow.

She is survived by her son, James (Janis) Boggan of Greenville; daughter, Peggy (Charlie) Jones of Mulberry, Florida; grandchildren, Rhonda Boggan (Jim) Clanton of Orange Beach, Devin (Celeste) Boggan of Millbrook, Alisha Jones of Stuart, Florida, Charles Jones, Jr. of Tampa, Florida; special friends and caregivers, Penny Maxwell, Fenetra Steele Maxwell, Pamela Pugh Clemmons, Geneva Brown and Ruby Free, along with many nieces, nephews, other extended family members and many dear friends.

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the wonderful team of Enhabit Hospice, especially Cynthia Allen, Nancie Little, Kim Hall and Brenda Trent.
