First Steps, an early childhood development program, hosted a Community Helpers Appreciation roll over simulator demonstration on Oct. 4. The pre schoolers were able to meet and greet local firefighters and touch a firetruck. 

Parents were given demonstrations and were instructed on what to do and how to keep toddlers safe in the event of a car rollover. First Steps gave away 10 car and booster seats to families during rollover demonstrations. Lisa Nimmer, director of First Steps, said the parents were very impressed with the demonstration and that it was a successful event.
