Alabama 106 reopen after crash

Alabama Highway 106 in Butler County has reopened after a crash blocked the roadway earlier today.

“The scene is clear, and the roadway is back open,” said Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) Sgt. Jeremy Burkett.

A two-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 1:12 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, and caused a road closure. All lanes of Alabama 106 near the 26-mile marker in Butler County were blocked while Troopers with the ALEA Highway Patrol Division worked to clear the scene.

No further information is available while Troopers continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
