Charles Edward Hubert

Charles Edward Hubert (4/2/1956-9/2/2023) transitioned at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 2 at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in FoleyL. Mr. Hubert was the beloved son of the late Walter Hubert/Herbert and Juanita Williams Hubert-King (Marvin Lester King). A native of Whistler, Mobile, also known as Prichard. Charles relocated to Sacramento, California and resided in San Francisco before relocating to Robertsdale in Baldwin County. 

Charles was the grandson of Percy (Henry Lelar Belle Ross) Hubert/Herbert: native of Garland/Georgiana in Butler County and James Theautry “Autry” (Aline Knight) Williams: native of Finchburg in Monroe County and a longtime resident of Atmore (Freemanville Community) in Escambia County. Great-grandson of Edward “Ed” (Ella Maye) Herbert, Henry (Selena Ballard) Ross of Butler County and Edmond “Eddie” (Queen Ester “Victoria” Knight) Williams; Willie (Pearlie Mae Locke) Knight of Chunchula in Mobile County by way of Finchburg.

Final arrangement: Graveside service was held on Saturday, Sept. 16 at 3:30 p.m. at

Williams Family Cemetery on Jack Springs Rd. (ec Rd. #1) I-65 Exit #51 to Atmore, (Freemanville Community) with professional services provided by 

Turner Funeral Chapel in Atmore, (251) 368-2400.
