The Greenville Library Board recently added a new member.

The Greenville City Council appointed Joseph Longmire to the board during the Dec. 19 city council meeting.

Longmire fills the seat recently vacated by Judge Cleve Poole.

“It was an absolute pleasure to recommend a fellow District 4 resident to this position,” said Councilman Jaeques Brown on social media.

According to Brown, Longmire brings with him many skills that will benefit not only the local library, but the entire community.
