Mary Ellen Blackburn, 76, of Georgiana, passed away on Thursday September 16th, in Greenville.

Funeral services were held at Johnson Funeral Home on Sunday, September 19.

Bro. Randy Harvill and Bro. Randy Williams officiated.

Burial followed at  Providence Cemetery.

Ms. Blackburn is survived by her husband of 55 years, Rex Blackburn; daughter Lisa Peavy (Joey); son Michael Blackburn (Rachel); grandchildren Jordan Owens (Wyatt), Joseph Peavy, Peyton Burleson, Mary Kathryn Blackburn; great grandchild Brantley Ellen Owens; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Her parents John Edward and Mary Frances McNaughton, as well as brother John William “Bill” McNaughton preceded her in death.
