Annual MLK parade is Monday

The second annual MLK Day Parade is set for Monday in downtown Greenville.
The Butler County Concerned Citizens are holding the event on Monday, Jan. 18.
The event, which is open to the public, was carefully organized ove rthe course of several months and hopes to honor Dr. King.
This year’s parade theme is: “I have a dream.”
The parade, whose line up starts at 10:30 on Herbert Street, will begin at noon on Bolling Street and end at the Butler County courthouse.
This year’s grand marshal is Kenneth Crum.
Crum, a native of Greenville and a GHS alumnus, is a founding member of the organization.
