Greenville Christmas parade is Tuesday

The annual Greenville Christmas Day parade is set for next Tuesday, Dec. 8, at 6:30 p.m.
The event will go from the train depot to the courthouse.
Streets will start being blocked off at 5 p.m., so residents are asked to plan accordingly.
Also, make sure to stop by the park in front of the courthouse before the parade. Santa, as well as members of the Greenville Lions Club will be making special appearances there starting at 5 p.m.
There will also be pre-packaged concessions, live music, and a tree-lighting ceremony that will be taking place at the park starting at 6 p.m., Mayor McLendon will be the honorary tree-lighter.
Social distancing, as well as masks, are highly encouraged.
