Come Out and Enjoy Lunch with Census Program
Butler County Counts program is hosting an event to get people to complete the census and also raise money on Sept. 4, 2020, at Greenville-Butler Co. Public Library’s Camellia Pavilion from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
There will be a free lunch of bagged Bates House of Turkey sandwiches provided to the first 100 people who have not completed the Census form.
Every ten years a complete Census count is conducted. The Census is used to determine federal funding and other programs to better the community.
This event will also help Butler County beat 32 other counties for $65,000 that will fund its public school system. Learn more here: https://www.alabama2020census.com/files/extra/Alabama_Census_Bowl_Information.pdf
