Encompass Home Health and Hospice of Greenville hosted a free grab-and-go lunch last Wednesday at its offices on the Greenville Bypass for first responders and healthcare employees. Encompass Health, Shalom Praise & Worship Center and Southside Baptist Church sponsored the event. Dozens of firefighters, police officers, ambulance personnel, medical personnel and sheriff’s deputies stopped by to pick up a lunch as volunteers cooked hot dogs and prepared the bags. The volunteers also took more than 70 bags to local nursing homes and clinics.
