On December 30, 2019, Mrs. Ethel Woods Teague fell peacefully into the arms of our Lord while sleeping.

She was the widow of Marlyn E. Teague, to whom she was married for 55 years.

She was the mother of Cheryl Teague Vaughan (husband, Mike) of Charlotte, NC, the grandmother of Michael Vaughan (wife, Amy) of Portsmouth, VA, and Angela Vaughan of Pineville, NC.

She had three great- grandchildren, Josiah, Ezra and Caroline.

She is also survived by a brother, Dwain Alverson (wife, Charlotte), of Brewton, AL.  A memorial service will be held on January 25th, at 1PM, at Union Baptist Church in Honoraville, officiated by her grandson, Michael.  Ethel Teague was a resident of Luverne for thirty years.

She will be missed beyond measure.
