Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019, at First United Methodist Church of Greenville for James Alton “Jimmy” Milton Jr. of Greenville, who died on Saturday, Nov. 9, in Greenville. Burial followed at Magnolia Cemetery. The Rev. Angie Long officiated. Visitation was held from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12.

Survivors include his wife, Lori; sons, James A. “Jim” Milton III of Birmingham and Clayton W. Milton (Jessica); granddaughter, Lucy Milton of Auburn; parents, Mr. and Mrs. James A. Milton Sr. (Bobbie) of Red Level; brothers, Keith Milton (Tammy) of Greenville and Jerry W. Milton (Melanye) of Red Level and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to First United Methodist Church of Greenville or to the charity of one’s own choice.
