Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019, at Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home, for Nanette Gibson Watts, 90, of Greenville, who passed away on Monday, Sept. 16, in Greenville. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Park. Justice Mark Kennedy is officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the start of the service on Thursday, Sept. 19.
Mrs. Watts was born and reared in the Searcy Community of Butler County in 1929. She attended Butler County Schools and graduated in 1947. She worked most of her adult life at First National Bank and Greenville Bank before concluding her working career at Walmart, working in the office.
Her parents, Foster and Enna Mae Gibson; her husband, Charles Henry Watts; sisters, Bessie Mae (Pat) Patterson, Elma (Bob) Hawkins and Beatrice (Glen) Owen, and a brother, Milton (Ferristine) Gibson, preceded Ms. Nanette in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Nan (Hugh) Tompkins of Montgomery; grandchildren, Nate (Caroline) Tompkins of Montgomery and Charlotte Tomkins of Oakland, Calif., and a sister, Virginia Turner of Hermanville, Miss.
