Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019, in the Chapel at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home for Mr. Claud Marcus Scott, 75, of Greenville, who passed away at his home on Monday,
Sept. 2. Burial followed at Magnolia Cemetery in Greenville. The Rev. Donnie Smith officiated. Visitation was held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.

A daughter, Daphne Ann Scott; his parents, Wiley and Clara Scott; brothers, Ray Scott and Marvin Scott, and sister, Lacey Warthen, preceded Mr. Scott in death.

Survivors include his wife, Lovella Mitchell Scott of Greenville; daughter, Kristi (Andy) Williams of Luverne; sisters, Jeanette Holcombe (Lewis), Mary Mitchell (Harold) and Eunice Scroggins; brother-in-law, Wilford Mitchell (Lynn); grandchildren, Shelby Posey, Andrew Williams, Austin Williams and Hayden Mayes, and great grandchildren, Fisher Posey and Clara Hazel Posey.

Pallbearers were Tex Scott, Mike Scroggins, Ronnie Scroggins, Gary Thornton, Jason Scott and Terry Shirey.
