Ms. Zettie Bedgood, 66, of Greenville, died on Sept. 6, 2019 at her residence. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the Chapel of Carter Rice & West Funeral Home in Greenville. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, at College Street Church of Christ in Greenville with Min. Bishnoo Rampersad officiating and Carter Rice & West Funeral Home directing.

Zettie was born April 10, 1953, in Greenville, to Mrs. Henrietta Bedgood and the late Mr. Zell Bedgood. Her father, Zell Bedgood and an older sister, Mary Alice Hinson, preceded her in death. She worked at Union Camp for several years until her health failed and she became disabled. She was a faithful member of College Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include her mother, Henrietta Bedgood of Greenville; a daughter, Tocarra (Walter Bone) Bedgood of Greenville; two grandchildren, Kahliya Moorer and Quintin Wade Jr. of Greenville; five brothers, Hervine Bedgood, Willie (Elizabeth) Bedgood, Jack Bedgood, James Bedgood and Alphonso Bedgood, all of Greenville; two sisters, Ruth Hillman of Merced, Calif. and Lois Peagler of Greenville; two special nieces, Sabrina (Timothy) Peterson of Greenville and Shameka (CeOntae and Xavier Norris) Peagler of Baumholder, Germany, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins that love and will miss her, and special friends, Sheila Mickles, Willie Steiner and Mary Margaret Hall.
