Annie Clyde Coleman Hunter was born on Jan. 6, 1929, and passed away on Sept. 6, 2019, surround by her children and grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8, from the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Burial followed in Mt. Willing Cemetery. Dr. Dale Braxton officiated.

Mrs. Coleman was a lifelong resident of Mount Willing and member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. She loved her community dearly. She taught within the Lowndes County School System for more than 30 years then thereafter served on the Lowndes County Board of Education. She enjoyed traveling and seeing the world. Spending time with family and cooking were two of her greatest passions. She will be dearly missed by all.

Her beloved husband, George Hunter Sr., preceded her in death.
