Mrs. Everage provided the very epitome of Southern hospitality.

She was born in Brantley, but later moved to Montgomery with her husband to raise their family. She was a charter member of Catoma Baptist Church there.

She had an all-encompassing love for all of God’s creations, but most especially for her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Her loving tenderness and kindness will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Everage was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey H. Everage; their daughter, Patti J. Everage; her parents, Oba S. and Myrtle Bryan Wyatt; and her siblings, Catherine Williamson and Braxton Bryan Wyatt.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas H. and Dana Everage; granddaughter, Shannon E. (Todd) Powers; two great-grandchildren, Jack Aubrey Powers and William Henry “Hank” Powers; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Mrs. Everage’s loving, Christian caregivers: Felicia Gregory, Sandra Evans-Arrowood, Margie Cleveland, Rose Powell, and Linda Babers. They also sincerely appreciate all of their family members, friends, and neighbors for their visits, love, and support. Active pallbearers will be Don Cunningham, Butch Moseley, Todd Powers, Christopher Thomas, Gary Parker, and Ben Everage. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10-11 a.m.
