A Celebration of Life Service was held at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 8, 2019, at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel in Georgiana for Betty Jordan, 84, of Vestavia Hills, who passed away on Friday, July 5. Burial followed in Sunrise Cemetery. The Rev. Stan Young officiated. A Gathering of Family and Friends was held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, at Johnson Funeral Home.

Survivors include daughters, Anita Jones and Nancy Zieverink, both of Vestavia Hills; sons, Bobby Jordan of Pike Road and Rickey Jordan of Greenville; sisters, Ann Crews of Deatsville and Judy Young of Springville; brothers, J.W. Brown of Greenville and Mack Brown of Montgomery; grandchildren, Stephen Jordan, Christine Muffatt, Leigh Jordan, Lacey Harrell, Rebecca Shippen, David Jordan, Abbott Jones, Riley Jones and Jordan Zieverink; 12 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
